Hidden in the small village of Knowstone on the edge of Exmoor, Little Owl Cottage is a stunning 16th century, grade II listed thatched cottagd with a private Hot Tub. The village boasts a michelin starred pub called the Mason Arms which is perfect for romantic meals and speacil occasions.




Little Owl is the perfect getaway from the stresses of modern life. With a log burner in an inglenook fireplace, wifi, private Hot Tub...you have all the ingredients for a relaxing break.



Beautiful 16th Century Devon Cottage

Exuding charm and character, little Owl dates back to 1580. Lovingly restored you will find original beams and features mixed with little touches such as bakelite switches and hand made Nigel Tyas wall lights. Other luxuries such as a Samsung 32" 3D LCD TV, Blu Ray player, Bose sound system with Ipod connection, provide you with all the home comforts you would expect in this little haven.






If you fancy dining in you will find a table set for two, an honesty bar for a tipple or two and a well equipped kitchen. There is always a chilled bottle of champagne in the fridge ready for you to pop open for the right moment. Or pre-book our romantic package with champagne and chocolates on arrival for £40.

The Lounge & Dining Area

The lounge oozes comfort and charm.Watche the world go by sat in the large window seat. Snuggle up in front of the large inglenook fireplace with original bread oven and wood burning stove.



Offering an extra comfy Laura Ashley sofa to a 32" Samsung 3D LCD TV, Blu Ray and Bose, there is something for everyone.

An intimitely set up dining table sets the scene for a romantic meal. Or why not dine out and explore the area?

An honesty bar awaits you, filled with wines and spirits all you need to do is bring the mixers and enjoy!




The Bedroom & Bathroom

Up the incredible oak staircase you will find the bedroom which encompasses the first floor.With original wonky cob walls and a lovely window seat the bedroom is picture perfect.


Decorated in Farrow and Ball colours and shabby chic decorations the bedroom also has remote control mood lighting set up to be used from the bed :)

Big fluffy towels are ready to enfold you in this fully equipped bathroom with shower, sink and WC.




Hot Tub

Secluded in the garden you will discover your own private Hot Tub with a roof to protect you from the elements.

This top of the range Hot Tub comes with plenty of jets and a champagne tray for you to enjoy. Soak away the stresses of everyday life while admiring the magical views over Exmoor. On occasion you will be lucky enough to see wild deer roam the fields, rabbits hopping by, as well horses and little lambs.





Set at 37 degrees Celsius the temperature is perfect for use whatever the weather.

Hot Tub towels, robes and plastic glasses are provided for guests to use. Fine wines and spirits are available to purchase from the honesty bar.

TIP :-) Submerge yourselves in the Hot Tub on a cold rainy day (you're nice and warm and you're wt anyway) - It's quite magical.
